Singapore is wonderful place to visit, and it has many entertaining venues and thrilling attractions to keep you busy day in and day out. They work together really, parks, attractions, the bustling city, the vivacious nightlife – working in tandem to provide any visitor with one of the best holiday experiences imaginable. Singapore is not just a country – its tourism board has crafted an experience tailor made for thousands of tourists and casual visitors to this sometime sunny, sometime spicy island on the coast of Southeast Asia.

First thing anyone will notice is the world class and magnificent airport, luxury placed after tarmac and a runway to a cozy and svelte experience. While you are being ushered out by the warm and beautiful staff, led to the taxi stand past the courteous customs officer into the taxi drivers who also double as tour guides, the question is what to do after? Here I will assume you’ve had a morning flight and are well rested, with just a hint of jet lag, not enough to drag you down. A quick beverage later and you’re ready to take on the world. If the sun is up and the weather is beckoning then you can head out and start exploring the cities and suburbs of Singapore. Make sure you have a tourist guide handy, the areas of attraction are clearly defined and the many ethnic enclaves and heritage centres are ripe for you to immerse yourself in the different cultures. Little India, China Town, Arab Street are just some of the places you can visit to experience the rich histories of Singapore and the dymanic cultures that live here.

There are a whole host of art venues and heritage museums that display the best and latest modern and historical shows as well as displaying some of the regions best in historical art pieces and exhibitions to boggle the mind. Both an educational and awe inspiring experience, I highly recommend a visit to the Arts Civilisation Museum or even the National Musuem of Singapore – to the greatest shows of the month. Rounding off the trip with a good local meal at any one of the shophouses to complete your cultural experience.
